Soaping at Cool Temperatures v/s Hot TemperaturesUpdated 4 months ago

 Cold Process soaping temperature is a personal preference, and will vary slightly depending on the recipe. While most soapers prefer to soap between (120-130 ° F) there are times when you will want to soap higher or lower:
When to Keep Soaping Temps Cool  (100-110 ° F)When to keep Soaping Temps Hot               (131-160 ° F)
 You want to prevent gel phase  You want to promote gel phase 
 You are making soap with alternative liquids (milk, juice, tea, etc) instead of water

 You want to prevent soda ash 
 You want to prevent glycerin rivers  To help soap saponify quicker 
 When working with a fragrance oil that heats up or speeds up trace  You are working with beeswax in your soap batter
 Your room temperature is hot
